After picking up a new tripod at Seawood Photo, I decided to give a whirl with my prime lenses on the backroads from San Anselmo to Petaluma, which meanders through the San Geronimo Valley, past the Nicasio resevoir and over the mountains into Petaluma Valley. I joined the dawn patrol at 5:00 am to see three balloons launch into the clear early morning sky. Hundreds of gallons of propane lifted 30 other balloons into the sky once the sun crested over the horizon. View the entire gallery at PhotoSensei.
